by RayLam Bellagio is a 3400+ room AAA Five Diamond award winning hotel and casino resort located on the famous Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. The resort opened on October 15, 1998. The design of Bellagio was inspired by the Lake Como resort of Bellagio in Italy and features an eight-acre lake located between the hotel and the strip. Bellagio is one of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring resorts on the Las Vegas strip. There are 3,241 rooms and 512 suites inside the Bellagio. This casino also includes a 45, 000 square foot Grand Ballroom, 22, 000 square foot Bellagio Ballroom and 14 meeting rooms. There are tonnes of shopping that can be done inside the Bellagio, 10 shops to choose from. All the shops are located in the Via Bellagio. If you want to just relax and unwind there is a 65,000 square foot Spa. This spa offers multiple types of massages and services in its 56 treatment rooms. This casino has world class dinning, with tones of restaurants to choose from. Some restaurants you can dine at are; Jean- Philippe, Pali Pronto, Picasso, Sensi, Jasmine and many more. Just outside the hotel is the Beautiful Bellagio Fountains. Here you can see an incredible water ballet created by a thousand choreographed sprays that burst into the air and blossom like flowers. The display is accompanied by classical music that matches the beat of the water jets. They are so mesmerizing that it is not uncommon for Las Vegas visitors to spend an hour or more gazing at the water show, especially at night. The Bellagio Hotel lobby alone is a show in itself. Over 2,000 hand-blown glass flowers, each perfectly each hand-crafted, cover the ceiling. In addition multi-colored works of art, called The Fiori di Como, add to the atmosphere The Spa and Salon offers a range of treatments for guests of the Bellagio Hotel Las Vegas, including facials, yoga and water massages. There are also fitness equipment and weight machines for a good workout. A personal instructor is on hand to give advice. If you are looking for a show to see while in Las Vegas, Bellagio is home to a Cirque du Soleil show simply called O. In Italian, O means water and that is what this show is all about with 85 acrobats and swimmers performing in and above a 1.5 million gallon pool of water. |
